This module is not only an RFID reader, but it is also capable of recording the data of your choice on an RFID tag. It is capable of detecting several tags at once. Its API was designed to greatly simplify the programmer's work. The reader is delivered with an RFID tag in credit card format based on an ICODE DNA chip.
Please note, this reader is only compatible with tags that meet the ISO-15693 standard, it is not compatible with Mifare tags, which meet the ISO-14443 standard.
In addition to the RFID part, the Yocto-RFID-15693 has a buzzer, an RGB LED, an output for additional LEDs and two analog inputs for detecting the state of various resistive sensors: switches , push buttons, potentiometers, etc...
Please note that the Yocto-RFID-15693 requires a 13.56MHz RFID antenna with a UFL connector to function. This antenna is not included and must be ordered separately. You can use the RFID-Ant-13.56 model or any other antenna whose geometry would be more suited to your needs.
This module can be connected directly to an Ethernet network using a YoctoHub-Ethernet, to a WiFi network using a YoctoHub-Wireless-n or to a GSM network using a YoctoHub-GSM.
